This is the entry point of our 3 tiered simulation faculty training programme. It is open to clinical staff of all disciplines who are keen to understand more about or progress with simulation as a teaching method and comprises of a one day course and a follow up practical component.

Level 1 Course objectives include:

• Educational theory and adult learning

• Human factors and non-technical skills

• What makes simulation effective

• Practical hands on in the simulation suite

• Introduction to debriefing

• Identifying training opportunities / developing a simulation training portfolio

Cost: Nurses £75, Trainees £100, Consultants £120
